Dracula,<br />thanks for pointing me the right direction. It must be a bestseller. Bad advertising is still advertising. (kidding)<br />When I surf off the beaten track, I have scripting turned off. For free.<br />On the other hand, popups at mainstream sites drive me crazy, f.i. I would kick Bloomberg ´s old ass for his auto refresh pop-ups (every minute), I face several times each day. Same goes to websidestory, and their new shitty interface.

Interesting that a couple of you have said turn off java - I do this as well cos of the popups but it stops lots of links and getting into some sites when i just hit the back button. Anybody got any idea how much traffic is lost through java being turned off

no popups when surfing smut sites is heaven....one to three...which can get x'd out is the next closest thing.....four to six are starting to get annoying and you are slowing sinking.....7 & up plus dialer ads that won't go away , sound, & your browser locks up you just went from being on the verge of losing your load & heaven ....to being shriveled up .....(might have well of taken a cold shower) & went from heaven to hell in less than a minute....You figure it out!!!!
