Guidence?

I've been a webmaster for years for different places, now I've started my own. I have created a webpage with galleries etc. This is all off-line till I get it posted on the net. What steps and how do I get this business off the ground to make money? How do I get traffic and create member access? I'm rusty on the member thing but willing to learn. If anyone could help me it will be most appreciated!
