How do I set ratios in the edit members section on UCJ? Is the format like 1:2 and stuff? Also what does the number of fixed/ratio/topratio trades do? What are the numbers for? I don't quite understand what tim said on the message board post.

One final question: What's the difference between link percent and surfer percent?

example on ratio:
1.2=120%, use 1.2 tho, not 120%

not sure about the difference btw link percent and surfer percent. but the higher surfer percent the better :-)

Fixed Ratio is for non script sites. These trades are paid in full up to the set ratio. The reason these are separated is that you don't want them to interfere with script based trades and vice versa

Ratio/Script Trades are for trading with other script sites. With a perfect script trade between 2 script sites you should never be able to pay out the trade in full as both sites are fighting out to pay more and more. Hence they are separated from the fixed trades.

Top Ratio Trades are the best of the best of the above category. These trades get a second listing and hence twice the traffic.

Link Percent sums to 100%
Surfer Percent sums to your click out percentage i.e. 120% or hopefully more if you have a nice setup.

So if you have 10 link percent that means 10% of clicks come on this link and if you have 12 surfer percent that means 12% of surfers that visited your site click on that link.

Well I noticed that even when I owe 0 hits to them, they still get randomly shown when clicked on? How come? When is my default url in the ucjout.cgi actually used?

Default is there only for when you have a script problem and the outgoing list isn't created. Its basicly a backup measure.

Your best n ratio trades will always receive traffic (where n is the number of ratio trades you setup in the settings)

Your best n TOP ratio trades always receive traffic (where n is the number of ratio trades you setup in the settings)

Your fixed trades only receive traffic when someone is owed hits.
