Think about it...How many advertisers does Tim have on the board? Probably at least 10 or 15...So each one...Should be able to post when they have an annoucement? I don't remember reading that as a perk in the terms of buying a banner from Tim...Damn maybe I should buy a banner spot then start posting annoucements in the general webmaster chat. I mean...After all...I bought a banner spot?

I have no problem with advertisers advertising at the top in the banner spots...I keep a eye on those and when something catches my attention I definately click and check it out...But I find it lame that advertisers think they can break rules just because they advertise on the board.
It was totally understood when Tim added the banner system...I mean afterall...Should he have to front the cash for hosting? Hell no...But there are rules on this board and the only reason I pay attention to this board is because its one of the few boards out there that is mostly bullshit and not all stupid and spamming threads. The mods here are good about removing crap like this and keeping members obeying the few rules that are here.
