Rich, there are two kinds of 'Kilo', 'Mega' etc

The physical meaning, which I took, and the meaning used by computers:
The first one says that Kilo = 1000, Mega = 1,000,000, Giga = ....
The second one says that Kilo = 1024, Mega = 1024², and so on.

I assumed Shame wanted to know the physical meaning as this one is, sorry Rich http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif, the more common one. Of course you can take the other meaning too but 100000000 would then be 97,656.25 KBytes, 95.37 MBytes.

If this was supposed to be scientifically correct then of course the latter is the correct version (for computers).
I personally will keep using the simplified version which is still correct.
