ok heres my situation...
started my site (amateurmania.com) about a week & 1/2 ago. within one week i had got to over 45k uniques/day, and from that point on, the sh!t really hit the fan. there was downtime on my server like u wouldnt believe. 4 hours here, 6 hours here, 9 hours there... and then a few other patches. 3 days after i hit 45k+ i was at 12k, and needless to say, my site was SCREWED. i was still filtering in traffic and my outclicks were still good, but with the server down for so long and my cgi not able to count exactly how much i owe, i dont think theres any way i can catch up on my trades, and the last 2 days ive noticed my hits dropping even with my outclick ratio fairly high. what should i do? restart the site from scratch? would people im trading with take pity on me and consider restarting our trades? sorry for posting it on here, but this concerns a fair number of webmaster/mistresses that are trading with me, and i figured this would be a much faster place to get a response.
important notes:
-im now on my own box, so according to my host, i shouldnt have anymore of that shit downtime
-ill have a 2nd site up in a few days, so at least i know thats not all screwed up to begin with
-no longer a newbie ;) (uhhh.. or at least as much of one)
-and yes, my goal IS to be one of the bigger sites out there, not to try my hand, screw up everyones trades, and take off since i didnt pay for the script
anybody who can help me please lemme know, i'm more than willing to repay all my trades, but I have no idea how many hits are owed... new trades? got no problems with those either :)
