From their stats area:
2003 IMPORTANT: PAYPAL FROZEN. PayPal froze our account today. We had assurances from them that their no Adult policy would not effect our account because we do other mainstream business as well. But without notice they changed their minds. THIS WILL NOT EFFECT PAYMENTS. ALL PAYMENTS WILL GO OUT ON TIME. However, will cannot send payments by PayPal. We strongly suggest affiliate switch to ePassporte.
Gues affiliate payments are also gone.

More like it's the whole company that's fucked up.
That allready became clear when we tried to get some support and all we got were autoresponders.
That was what made us decide not to use them.
Looking at this I am very glad we didn't :)

why is it that they have a no adult policy thing? and is the other solution to switching to a different person better?

I believe the reason why they dropped the no adult policy is because there were too many chargebacks. The adult industry is famous for chargebacks. ;)
I would recommend switching over to: www.stormpay.com, they are improving now.

As I understand it Their system is not equiped for the adult business model and keeping Visa happy at the same time.

I agree I would love to see some of the larger programs(Nexcash staff if you're watching HINT, HINT! :D ) offering Stormpay.
We are using it as a test and so far we are pleasantly suprised with how it works.

It was probably because of the chargebacks from disgruntled surfers buying into crap sites.

Do NOT do anything with paypal . They let people charge back too easily . Big scammers arround there :( This used to be good but right now I'd say it's mostly scam . I got 3 account that were closed and one of them still got 1000's in them after a year .
which alternative is there beside paypal ?

It's not only that part, but also a lot of guys do signup, when their Wife, or GF find out, he says, NO MUST BE MISTAKE, strange, let's get back our money honey....That is actually a bigger problem

We had assurances from them that their no Adult policy would not effect our account
Of course they're account won't be effective if it's frozen :)

This is bullshit to me.
First of all the Pay Pal decleration clearly states this applies to only the selling and buying of pornographic materials and/or services.
It has nothing to do with a program paying its affiliates.
1. If Pay Pal has really just out of nowhere frozen Nexcashes account and are using the excuse of their new policy then Pay Pal could easily file a complaint in court and get the freeze lifted.
2. Pay Pal has had their account froozen because of something else that we do nto know about and Nexcash doesn't want us to know about it.
3. Pay Pal did not freeze their account at all, its just an excuse to force us to join EPassporte because apparently Nexcash is really trying to push them now. Myabe its cheaper for them to pay us thru it or some other reason. Notice this in their news section.
"ANY AFFILIATE SWITCHING FROM PAYPAL TO EPASSPORTE WILL RECEIVE A FREE ACCOUNT & VIRTUAL VISA REGARDLESS OF PAYOUT."
Also note that Nexcash has long had a problem with Pay Pal and they have vocally, through their news page, reccommended against having any account with Pay Pal at all in the past.
I like to give Nexcash the benefit of the doubt most of the time, however you cannot trust anyone in this business, so you might want to realize something else could be happening here than what they say. I wish there was a way to verify all the information is true.

I think its also important for me to state that I am in no way accusing Nexcash of anything, only looking at it from both angles with allof the information that I know.
Also in giving Nexcash and Pay Pal the benefit of the doubt in this situation because neither side really adds up 100%.

Dead13, the folks at nexcash have been pretty straight up for a long time now - as in years. since (if i understood this right) they're willing to pay us all immediately using epassporte, sounds like they're on the level to me.

I would agree they have been straight up to a point. I stress to a point because they are not 100% honest about atleast one very important factor in their program.
However, they have been very respectable and always deal with issues in a timley manor and ALWAYS pay out. With Click-thru sponsors I just pick the lesser of all evils and Nexcash is the lesser evil.
I did just get an email from Al explaining their final decision and it is a very good explanation. I would agree at this point, with what Al has told me, they have made the right decision to leave Pay Pal.

have you ever read what kinda responses people got when they asked about where they draw the line with "adult material" ? they are very incosistent on what they have decided to allow or not. it probably only takes one employee to go through the account see anything adult related before the account is frozen. they're fucked up, it can happen to any of us

there are good alternatives to paypal now such as ePassporte and Stormpay as mentioned here and soon they will see what a big fucking mistake they made by not allowing anymore adult transactions.

As always basschick is a voice of reason. We don't gain anything by not using Paypal except peace of mind. We dodged a bullet because the account wasn't frozen until after the our last pay day. We simply can't trust PayPal or risk our webmasters' payments. We have just under a thousand webmasters who are using PayPal. We promised to pay the $5 for everyone who switches over to ePassporte. If they all switch over, there goes $5k.
Dead13 your comments make absolutely no sense unless I own ePassporte, which I don't.
PayPal is targetting the Adult industry because it's an easy target. They don't care if they lose our business as long as Ebay is such a cash cow.
We will be checking out storm pay, hopefully we will be able to offer it as well.

Unless ePassporte is giving you some rewards for all of the members you send them. :D
BTW maybe you should have read the entire thread before you jumped on me. I said pretty clearly that I agreed with your decision and defended you. Maybe next time I will not hold back.

Pay pal is a scam and has been for quite some time.
Read this paypalsucks.com (http://www.paypalsucks.com/) to see why so many people are just fed up with them.

Al I never jumped on your "honest ;) " company. Read the fucking thread.
And if you can't take someone questioning your motives when something doesn't make since then maybe you need a new line of work. I would have no problem with someone questioning my business if we did something like this.
Anyway Al, be a bit more professional, afterall you have to be to run such an "HONEST" company. ;)

How could you ever guess hahahahahaha :finger: (Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house)
I have worked with Nexcash for a few years as well, and as I have said (maybe if your English was worth a shit you'd have read it) I AGREED with their decision.
But then Al wants to be an asshole and start shit with me because I simply did the intelligent thing and questioned the decision and wanted more information instead of following their every word like a little sheep. I never came here starting shit with anybody.
If I wanted to start shit with Nexcash I would very easily, but out of respect for the program I don't, maybe AL should follow that example. I think it would be in everyones best interest to actually read every post in this thread before you start flaming like a little 10 year old.

Not questioning a well respected program despite their track record and their reputation to keep them honest makes you a fool. I'd rather look like a fool than be a fool any day.
And I'd still like someone to point out exactly how I "talked shit" about them.
