The latest version of the C++ written trade script Arrow Trader (http://www.arrowscripts.com) comes with a very advanced proxy module.
Proxy servers leave traces. Sometimes hardly any, sometimes a lot. Using 8 different methods to pick up those traces (and thus proxy hits), you can be assured that no hitbot will be able to attack your site with proxies behind your back.
For people using hitbot alert (http://xxxonfire.com/ptrack.php?action=list), I can tell you this;
hitbot alert is a nice start. But it checked just for 3 http headers to pick up the proxy hit, and it was a pretty stand-alone program.
Now you can get an even better scanner, integrated in an amazing trade script!
I was able to code the entire module in just one line of code.
So it's extremely fast, and won't slow your site / script down a bit.
