mine is probably about 15% of my gross profit. I'm wondering if i should try to start compressing images, or if this is actually good. This seems like a lot compared to the CJ days, but we all know that these are lean times comparatively.

ttyl
donger

210%... then there's content - another 150%.... server costs - 325%...

I may lose 50 cents on every visitor, but I plan to make it up in volume.

I spend about 100th of 1% of my money made on bandwidth. That is close to the truth.

I submit a separate tax return for my web business. Web site hosting is about 10-15% of gross revenue. Closer to 15% when I am lax and submit some galleries to a TGP. I'm sure this % would go up if I was a regular TGP submitter.

Hmmm,
I don't use free hosts. I can't believe that someone who doens'nt use freehosts can do better than 10% cost bw on revenue. If you cocksuckers are freehost addicts and and don't have a domain name to your name I am not surprised your hosting fee is less than 1% of revenue. However, I would be surprised if you make any money
