I have been in my office when I noticed the first rumors on boards and a few minutes later my dad came in telling me I better go and look the news.<br /><br />We were scared like hell. We really thought that time it is going to be a hell of a worldwar.<br /><br />I personally will never forget that damn day.

I was driving & listening to the radio. First flash news was about "fire in one of the towers", then "airplane accident", then "second plane hit the tower", etc.<br />2 hours later I was watching everything live on TV, and reading THIS board ... I was so pissed off by some morons´ messages, I decided to register to be able to post.

I was playing billiard and there was a TV near the bar and i saw guys stopped playing and started watching TV.....<br /><br />I ran home and i was watching TV till very late night....

I was in the office and a firend of mine told me about the WTC on the icq.<br /><br />I live on 30m of the USA residence and all area was closed, it was damn hard to get home to watch CNN. It was like action movie on the CNN, it was hard to believe that it's truth.

I was fixing my husband's lunch and had just sent my boys out the door to go to school. I went into the kitchen to check his lunch and was summoned back to the living room...... I stopped right in front of the tv and he was telling me what was going on........ this was after the first one but before the second........... I turned and looked at my husband and said "This was no accident, planes just don't fly into the World Trade Center like that by accident" and walked off........ no sooner had I turned my back than the second was coming and I caught it out of the corner of my eye......... this was as bone shattering a sound as I have ever heard and also put a fear into me like I had never known, I wanted to go and get my boys......... <br /><br />First tower falls and I go get my boys...... the rest of that day is a bit of a blur, but I remember the first 3 hours of my day like they were just hours ago.<br /><br />Tam

i had just woken up and was making coffee. they were already talking about it on the tele but i wasnt really listening, it wasnt until i sat down that i realized they were talking about new york.<br /><br />I slammed a tape in the vcr and started it recording, then i called my aunt to see if jay was in the pentagon. Good for him he wasnt, he was five miles away and he saw the plain fly over him.<br /><br />I dont know why they showed the plane hitting again and again, it was just as hard to watch as the first time. its good they dont show it on the television anymore, the children dont need to see that.

I'm on the West coast so the planes hit shortly after 6:00 AM here. My radio was set to wake me up at 8:00. When it came on, instead of the usual music I expected to hear I heard the DJ describing the events.<br /><br />"It's unbelievable both world trade center towers have collapsed into a pile of rubble..."<br /><br />While I normally lay in bed and listen to the radio for 15 or 20 minutes upon waking, that morning I ran from bed and turned on CNN. I thought the radio station was pulling a sick joke, until I saw the pictures on TV.<br /><br />Then they announced the Pentagon being hit (although I think it was actually hit while I was still asleep). I was scared to death and ready to slash any fucker to who tried to mess with me that day. A tear came to my eye, actually several tears, I'm not ashamed to say. I thought twice about showing up for work that day, but I decided to go in about 2 hours late... hardly anyone else was there.

I read a brief note on the net at my work that a plane has crashed into the one tower of World Trade Center. We thought it was a joke, but then suddenly a second plane hit the second tower and the sad story continues.

I was sitting here at my desk working, the wife<br />said a plane just hit the world trade center, I<br />said what? Flipped the TV on the Today show, it <br />was live and then I saw the 2nd plane go in. I <br />knew it was terrorist at that moment.<br /><br />will never forget it, thats for sure! so many sad<br />stories involved in it all and hard to believe it<br />has been 6 months already.<br /><br />My oath: if I ever do see bin laden in person <br />which I doubt I ever will, I will bring swift<br />death or maybe slow totureous death to him!<br /><br />america will survive and pick up the pieces and<br />do what it needs to do.

I was right here in front of the computer, I saw it on the board, then listen to CNN and talk on icq to a very close friend of mine who's staying in Jersey and had a large view of downtown Manhattan, including the two towers.
