Link rotation script?

To be more clear, I'd like to create a fake top list where everyday (or at random) it will display 20-30 text links (i.e. url) from a list (40-60 url in the list). Can this be done with Javascript?

Alex, have you got something sorted yet?<br /><br />If not, i made something you might be interested in today. (i got bored, bank holidays and all <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> ).<br /><br />Its a perl script that outputs an HTML table that you could include with SSI, or could be set to update your mainpage directly.<br /><br />If you set Cron to call it periodically you have what you need i think.<br /><br /> richard@gibhar.com to see where it is at the moment, i might as well make it pretty now, so any extra features you might like it to include, can gimme feedback etc.<br /><br />cheers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> <br /><br />Rich.
