Newbie in the business...

I'm just starting in the business, and I have a few basic questions.

One, my site, www.zooksnook.com (http://www.zooksnook.com) is strictly a link only website. I do not want to add gallerys, or make anyone pay for access to the links. What type of site is this considered, and how much revenew is to be made from a site like this?

The site is done, for what it needs to do, even though I am adding small things here and there, its pretty much up for use. Whats the best, legal, saine, nice way of promoting my link only website? I would like to see at least 300 unique hits for my first month, how realistic is this? What should I expect? How much promotion should I actually do?

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly apprechiated. Thanks alot.

Let me be the first to answer this guys questions a bit, so they can't start blaming the board for not helping out the newbies http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Q: What type of site is this considered
A: a link-site a.k.a. link-list (no kidding)

Q: how much revenew is to be made from a site like this
A: can't answer this, haven't done such a site ... it also depends on your knowledge of selling your stuff to your visitors. You might make $5 with 10K traffic and somebody else might make $200 with that same traffic. (just an example)

300 unique hits is not much, the sites on your page might get 50 hits from that.

About your promotion question:
Well, I've heard you should start a link-site unless you're able to send a good amount of traffic to it every day (i'm not talking about a little 300 hits here ok http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif ).

Or maybe trade some links with other link-sites, I'm not sure how it goes for that kinda sites.
