DNS question

all right
i just got a new server
however when i update my dns at my registrars, can i use ns1.mynewserver.com and ns2.myoldserver.com so that in case i fuck up, traffic can still go to my old server where i would keep a back up account??
any help appreciated

but it takes a while to get an answer, plus i like to hear the solution from 2 or 3 different persons

No problem... Ore you could export the dns records to a CVS file, and Imort it on the new server.
