AVS sites vs. Free Sites

I'm a bit Curious............<br /><br />I know an AVS site is just a Free site behind a script. So I'm looking through sites like link-o-rama and such and see they list AVS sites and Free Sites. So what should I promote my AVS site as. Should I just submit it as a free site and let people link to my content, or should I submit it as AVS sites. I would figure that people would make more money getting the $15-20 with the AVS, so why are people making free sites? why not just put up the script and make that xtra $15-20 and save some bandwidth?<br /><br />Please, my brain is killing me.<br /><br />Peace,<br />Nic

here is the deciding point: do you want to sell avs memberships or memberships for your sponsor?<br /><br />very few of those guys from the link lists are going to get inside your avs site, so if you want to try to sell them sponsor memberships, make it a free site.<br /><br />if you think your site will convince them to buy and you want to make $ selling avs memberships, have them sent to the front door.

it's all what you'd rather sell - sponsor or fnp memberships.<br /><br />i do pretty well with fnp... how do you usually do with that sponsor?

basschick, i have no idea really, i am about to submit these galleries then probably make it a freesite because I think that they would get more traffic to the sponsor as opposed to people actually getting inside.<br /><br />What do you think? I guess I just need to work my ass off and try as many different things that I can.

Guess how many surfers type in youngporn.net instead of buying membership. Many people don´t even use counters on outside pages just to avoid any traffic leaks. I do not use banners with URLs on them as well.<br />AVS surfers are second to none (next to AOL people), if you give them quality, and match their desires, they will love you. I am using text links almost exclusively, and my average CTR on some niche sites is up to 15 per cent!
