When does a hit get counted??????

Just an extention of Sam's topic.... when in the script does an incoming hit get counted.... ????

Is it after the page fully loads, or somewhere in the middle????

I guessing to ensure a quality hit it would be when the page finishes loading... and then... what is a good size for your page (in kb I mean) to insure fast load times on an already fast server???

sorry, these are lots of questions....
any insight would be helpful though...

If you use third part counter like sextracker then hit is counted when their banner loads (you don't need to load whole page), but page reffers are counted when whole site loads (because java script is used).

Don't know how cj script count this...

thanks dude.... that also probably explains why some webmasters say that their sextracker stats are lower than their script stats as well then.... if the banner doesn't load on time.....
