Just had one of my sites hacked and traffic redirecting to 404.spyw.com.. Wondering if there is anything that someone can do about this, as far as legal action is concerned. Because as far as I am concerned, this is the smae as someoneonbreaking into a sotre and stealing...
If anyone has anything on this, please let me know..
thanks

Since its a US based company you can contact the FBI.gov and save all your server access longs for them to look at.

Hope you nail his ass and he guts some time in the federal pen for that shit.

Are you sure is him or that's a real address? I mean, no hacker will make something like that and then give all his info so you can cath him that easily. And btw, 5 of my sites were hacked a month or so ago and redirected to CP. I found all data and send all info to FBI since the domain was at USA, but address was fake and FBI wasn't very interested in this. So at least tell Shannon to wait before paying him a visit :) but if you're sure, I guess you'll be richer soon ;)

do you have any idea how long litigations take? I'm suing one real-estate guy for nondisclosure since May, they haven't even set up a first court meeting yet. Lazy fucks..

Well that is what the whois on the guy is..
but If there is illegal action taking place, I would suspect the hosting company, if located in the uS, would be required to give out information on the owner of the domain. As far as length or cost of the law suite, I could care less, as long as the fuck gets it in the ass in the end

Your need to prove the owner of the site was the guy that hacked your site. Just becouse it redirects to his site does'nt prove this.
