violence/snuff sites - this stuff just is evil.. read me

ok guys, I have a real problem and this group is the only place i can turn to.

I'm warning you this is -bad-.

I just realized there are a whole bunch of rape, torture and snuff sites out there. Theres a whole bunch of free and pay-sites that promote killing women. Just do a search on yahoo.

These guys are truly sicko's of the lowest order. I would like to start a thread on this issue because its seriously disturbing me.

Then we have the sites like r*tten.com and b*nged*p.com - if you don't know about these places, the better for you.

Here's my issue. B*nged*p.com has apparently posted a real live girl getting shot by a gun in the head just for the thrill of it. Her brains splatter. Its up on the site and is very very very very very very very very very very sick and scary and makes me want to cry. I need only the bravest of you to look and please work this through with me. If you can tell me its fake then I'll be your best friend, send you $1000 and never go back looking for trouble again!

Please don't go if you aren't prepared to see the most horrible 3 second film in your life. Its completely awful.

To those of you who are going to look, please forgive me for the pain it will inflict. I just want to figure out how we can close all those sites and have these guys prosecuted just like the kp sites.

One Last Time: If you have a caring heart, stomach, soul, do yourself a favor and stay away from that site, I don't want to be responsible for anybody going through what i am going through.

I hear ya, Its sickening to think we have KP sites out there to deal with. Its enough to make you vomit thinking about Children being used for some sickos enjoyment. And I agree that we need to regulate and take down every site we run into that displays it - or promotes it or whatever, not only because its sick and hurting those being victimized - but it is sites like these that could also bring in severe gov regulation for the rest of us. I believe you saw what you saw - And I dont really care to look at it. I take your word for it. But I still dont know exactly what can be done or who you would contact when it comes to sites such as these?
If it is snuff - I believe the FBI - if the server or owner is in the US would need to be contacted, if not I believe it would be in another countries juristiction?
How poeple ever get off on stuff like that is beyond me, I think they need to be locked up and far far away from normal society...

There was a whole list of them a la the Fox Network's "Did We Really Land on The Moon?" I'll see if I can find the site, and you can read it for yourself. The important thing is that it is a fake.

I saw a site a few weeks ago that had a movie of a guy getting sucked through a jet engine - and it was real. I wouldn't mind getting that removed from the 'net. If you read the bit where the director of such films says his piece, he says the same thing. On his site, people KNOW that its fake, which is where i suppory Candid's point of view.

However, on rotten/bangedup, they do not tell you this.

The director says give them a break, but it has obviously affected people who view the film believing it to be real, and thats not funny in my book - nor is people believing it is real, and enjoying it.

In all fairness, IF the vid is fake - its one fantastic piece of art. In the meanwhile, I've learned a huge lesson - I'm staying away from horror sites like that.

I used to be on the other side of the fence in terms of reporting content. I thought reporting anything was bad for the industry, some of you may even remember me spewing my mouth on about it. However after several busts and convictions in Russia and Italy last summer that included severe real-crime videos (rape, murder, pedos) being sold on the web , the reality hit home:

People in poor countries with access to the web will do anything for the western & american dollar.

Without controlling the access points, even fake ones, that 'lead' to the real stuff, it can get out of control. Worse case scenario:

2 drunk fratboys fill in a form, enter their credit card number, and for $5 US some girl in bolivia is raped live on their screen.
Of course they've got $50 bucks to spend tonight, and the sick rich guy has got thousands! Very likely this kind of thing will hapen in the future, after all there are thousands of street children, over 100 who die daily in columbia alone.

So by getting rid of even the fake stuff, you are removing the likely link-partners/affiliates of the true criminals.

Well , I understand your feeling on this issue. First of all lets not compare CP and pictures of dead people! There is no comparison what so ever. One is a sexual pleasure thing and by all means sick and one is more of an information thing. Now, to go and report this site for showing death, is well, completely irresponsible. It isn't against the law. So time and effort will be made by all parties involved, when they could be investigating other, real crimes. Im sorry if you disagree with me. Im by no means promoting death type sites. But I have to say, it really doesn't bother me. Sure it bothers me to see death and aguish, but its also a lesson to all of us that we have it pretty damn good, and should be grateful that we don't live in a country that can legally murder people! Or live in a country were its so bad that you would do anything to get away from it and then get hit by a train in the process.. All there is to say is this. If you don't want to see pictures and movies of death, stay the hell away from it. And yes, if you come across CP please do report it, for we ALL know its illegal and probably the most hurtful thing that could ever be done to a child.

I didnt watch the movie - I took two other poeples word for it - So yes I jumped the gun without investigating further. That was where I Fucked up - I agree - I dont believe in policeing other poeples fetishes or whatever, thats there business - But I took what other poeple were seeing and what they believed to be a crime of a sexual nature and took imediate action on that. Kinda like someone screaming rape in your own nieghborhood (I dont care to see that either), I would call 911 without investigating further - anyone in there right mind would.
