Will someone please let me know where OutLook Express saves e-mails locally?
I am having to reload it and want to backup my current e-mails. I currently cant even open up OutLook, so I have zero e-mail functions right now.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated :)

c:\windows\application data\
(i'm on winXP and can't remember the exact paths).
Look for a folder called "identities" or similar, (maybe inside a 'microsoft' dir?).
You'll then have a directory with a horrible string as the title:
{E8BADA-7B3E-F2-89D-67091763A}
or something similar.
Inside that dir, you should have a
Microsoft\Outlook Express\ path.
et voila, you should have some files that look like the folders inside OE..

You can select that on the options.
Usually it's stored on c:\windows\Aplication Data\Identities\...\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Just copy that folder and replace it after you install it again

Thanks guys - Thats exactly what I needed. :)
You can always set where to save data and se where it is saved by going to Options, Maintenance and click on "store folder"

makes sense Abs, if Joe Dumbfuck deletes these type of settings they've lost all their emails etc.
is "application data" a hidden folder?
i think it is, i can't see it on my XP ("local settings" is hidden i think on XP) - but i've not tried to unhide files.
Shannon, you're welcome mate.
