Hi all, most of you don't know me, but I've been in the biz for several years now.
I'm currently on the pursuit of building up my first 100% clean site and I'm using shap's advice of using my exit to build up my site off some of my cj sites.
Anyways, I've have spent a good portion of the past year taking these off my sites to make my site more compatible with my trade partners, and now I realize what I've been missing. Yeah I know, the days of making good money with exit sponsors has basically turned to shit, but that doesn't mean that the value of the exit ever went down, not much at least.
Anyways, I've been checking my stats, and have noticed a much higher productivity that I expected, around 35%, and I'm very sure that I've been making a huge mistake for quite a long time by getting rid of my exit.
I think it's only a matter of time that more people stumble across this, and start resorting to the old ways. Not using exit traffic will only last so long, especially since a lot of you aren't making money.
Lastly, I encourage that more of you allow consoles, or at least build up a second index page that both has them and allows them. It will make more money for all of us.

I think it is a good idea. There is a lot of people afraid to loose the bookmarkers because they don't like popups. But some day the nice time will come back (I hope).

When you sweep through the Sextracker Top 200, you will find at least 70% TGPs today. 1-2 years ago there have been 20-25%. About 10-20% of all these 200 sites use an exit, the rest don't even send to their own sites, there is simpyl no exit. I think it was in early '01 when the CJ-Guys decided to switch from their console hells to a more cleaner style. The reason were the major exit brokers that established harder rules, which are still active today at most programs. So the switch from 1-2 enter consoles and 2-3 exit windows with trades to "clean" pages with only one exit (90% this was an exit sponsor) and maybe 1-2 enter consoles was done. It lasted about 3-4 months, then the well-known shap-idea took place and after that, Magnatique liften the CJ2s out of the dust. A hype...
The CJ2 boom started the dialer wars, we all loved the 30% dialer threads on AWI per page.. ;)
50% of the CJ2 sites are TGPs today. The "real CJ" sites are nearly dead. They were talked to death by the "we clean up our sites and make more cash"-hype.
The funny thing is that huge number of sites with free content kill the profit again, the surfer can get off at dozens of places for free without pulling his CC.
Tell a TGP owner to turn his 100k bookmarker-traffic back to 30k CJ traffic and he will say that you are crazy. Which is true if he does it alone. Somebody will take it in the ass if a major change takes place, a movement back from the bookmarker-traffic to trade-traffic.
If 1-2 webmasters do it, they will be the ones that have to swallow. It's the same thing like the switch from CJ to CJ2.
If everybody or a big wave of them do it, the surfer has to swallow, he looses his free porn and has to pay again.
Bottom line of this long post: Don't be afraid to switch your sites into the dirty-mode if you have people at your side that do the same. A good sign for this movement is as well, that exit brokers start to pay more now, at least XitCash does, so it's worth to sell your traffic again or to send it to your own add-pages. If the surfer gets too much free porn, the CC stays in his pocket. Feeding TGPs with trade-traffic is the way to build up a huge site, but not the way to make cash if everybody uses the same idea.

True but theres already so much out there it would take 1-2 years for the old surfers to buy new drives or PC and loose the collection. This issue would not go away even if everyone turned back to CJ tomorrow it will take a good bit of time no matter what.
I also think CJ2 or CJ with some small bit of content is a good idea reason banners just dont take the place of a free sample. You may thing a grocery store giving 1 apple per customer is a loss they see it as a way to sell more. This is why galleries are a good thing but i can tell you i see guys who make 10 a day easy posting them and this is whats bad.
PicPosts are also a good idea and should but when they just contain images with busty amateurs tag that kills it. People just decided to use galleries for the wrong reason and its turned to a total mess. I see guys all the time with marked images from one sponsor pushing another just to make a buck and thats pothetic.
What is needed is a real way to regulate it all instead of people giving porn from other sponsors. Sponsors tag images for a simple reason its "Their Property" and this type of theft is just as bad on our industry as the hitbotters.
Think about it you a surfer you go to a gallery... You see hot chick you want more so you join... Now you go into member area and that chick aint even there... WTF??
Now you cancel membership issue chargeback and when you see hot free samples do you buy membership to see more again??
If people would make an honest living like many who suffer because of the cheaters we could all do much better. You get a site to 200k with your super duper hitbot then one day you get greedy run a few trades in the ground and get busted. Now what will you do since you been exposed and fucked your trades to hell??
If people would get it thru their heads they are fucking themselves as well as others every day for "Short Term" since money you make this month cheating wont last forever..
Now to end cheating is only a dream but if it did stop we would all live happly ever after even with TGPs...
