What to do with this sponsor check?

Hi,<br /><br />I should have revcieved two checks from sponsor makingbank. I contacted them, and they looked into it.<br /><br />Now they say they already have send those checks, and that they're cashed too.<br /><br />I never got it! They say we use name BLABLA on the checks. But even that name I haven't got. I know for sure, because every check I get I noticed on block, make copy etc.<br /><br />What to do now? You have any suggestions? It's total 600 dollar<br /><br />Andre

what does noticed on block mean?<br /><br />ask for the check #'s from them<br />check your copies, and the check #'s<br />check your bank online or by phone to see if they were cashed on your end.<br /><br />How long ago were these checks sent to you?

i think you should ask your sponsor who cashed the check..name, bank, location !<br />if its other name, bankd and location than yours somebody used your check !

tell your bank what happened, and they will walk you through the steps to take legal action if the check was cashed.

Well I contacted the sponsor, and they will found out he say.<br /><br />My Bank has nothing to do with it. Because I never got that check here<br /><br />The strange thing is that it has happend twice!<br /><br />Andre

Same situation happened with one of our webmasters, somebody get his checks and cashed somehow .<br /><br />what we did is the following: <br />we got the checks cashed from my bank back, and faxed the proof with the bank and account name that cashed it. The webmaster went with that to the bank that cashed (not his bank) and explained. They made some kind of research and finally they discovered it was scam, they kick the cheater out and they gave the option to my webmaster, to take legal actions (fbi takes care of it, it is a federal crime, so you wont have to do anything or spend any money). My guy preferred to get his money back and did not deposed any complain and that was all.<br /><br />It is long and a lot of headaches, but you have no choice<br /><br />Hope it helps
