as far as software, photoshop 6 and image ready, and of course, flash. as far as hardware, I love my digitizer tablet, http://www.acecad.com

the site is pretty ugly for a photoshop tutorials site, but the tutorials they have listed there are very useful and can give you some kewl ideas.
