i am trying to assess how much bandwidth will be needed to run the latest UCJ scripting alone, not talking about the HTML, etc, just the CGI and .c scripts required to run UCJ..

Synopsis - I want to install UCJ on Machine B, but the website it will be used for will be on Machine A, just handshaking the UCJ scripts over on another server...

How much bandwidth do you suspect the UCJ scripting to use in its own, my site gets 23k uniques a day now, once UCJ is installed I expect it to get to 150k, so based on this, can anyone help with a guestimate? Tim?

thx in advance

I may be wrong but I'm not sure you can do it that way.

UCJ uses an SSI call to track reffers and also sets a cookie with this same SSI.

Not sure either will work correctly if UCJ is on another machine.

I don't think UCJ uses any significant amount of bandwith at all though. If anything it will use some CPU cycles.
