View Full Version : Anyone know of a any good video cutter?

I need an easy to use program that would allow me to open a mgp video which is, let's say 10 megs, and split it in like 10 or 20 mini videos. Let me know if you know any program that can do that easily. <br /><br />thanks

virtualdub is your best bet, and the best<br />software around for editing IMHO <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> <br /><br />dont have a URL handy, so do a search for it

ok I'm currently trying it...I opened a mpeg file and selected small part and clicked "save as AVI" (as there is no option to save as other format anyway) and it is not working. Could it be possible that this program only work with AVI files?

Let me know if you know any program that can do that easily. <br /></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Try tmpgenc, <a href="http://www.tmpgenc.net/" target="_blank">http://www.tmpgenc.net/</a><br /><br />It's a pretty sophisticated MPEG-1/MPEG-2 encoder, but all you need is File-&gt;MPEG Tools-&gt;Merge & Cut<br /><br />You can also play around with re-encoding them, you can select the start and end frames of the output by clicking on Setting-&gt;Advanced then double clicking Source Range.<br /><br />Hope this helps. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />

Most cutters are crap and cause error after rejoining or downloading the cut. THE BEST ON THE NET IS FREE!
