I saw several messages which say that you must have a couple real big trades to get a site bigger....

2 or 3 trades should be at least 10K or more... thats fine but how the hell you get one trade at 10K... set UCJ at RATIO and 2.0 and force like 200 a hour????

My bigest trades are now 1K 1,5K ( i must say that i send much more then i get but okay)

well, what i do is icq one of webmasters i know good and i know that his traffic is productive for me and mine - for him.

I ask for a ratio trade, let's say 1.3 and 100-300/hour and we both set the same settings. we do not change these settings till we both agree and talk about that.

This way you have one +- stable trade that has a future :)

You can also make only forcem with good normal ratio, like 1.5

The main idea is YOU BOTH SET THE SAME THINGS and you both are guaranteed that they won't be changed without special talk.

i go to smoke a cigarette.. if i get more ideas, i'll share them...

good luck

You should have 50-70 trades to start thinking about more traffic

you say 50-70 trades to get bigger?

i have around 30 active trades, but as soon as i add another trade one trade just die so it stays at 30 active tradepartners!

what can i do about that?
thnx

i can't give you ideas from what you told me...

i dunno what script you use, what kind of site, etc...

you could have stable 30 hitbotters and you think it's traffic.... sometimes the good trades are fake.

you can have 2-5 trade partners (such as easypic :D ) and it will be enough

but you can have 20 trades and 50k traffic

I don't keep small trades because they die every day and send small ammounts of traffic. UCJ does not even sends them back enough since they can't get to outlist because of that.

Pinox to get big trades your site must be big . You can't have a 10k trade if your site is only 40k ... Your prod will suck on the other side cauz you will send too much raw . When my site was biggest in the good days, I had 50 trades over 1k per day . That's how it worked really well . I had comming comming from everywhere and not always going to the same site .

Hi,

Quick question, if you are going to force say 100 hits an hour. What settings should you use for the trade in ucj (Normal or capped)or does it make a difference.

Thxs,
Jeff

Well maybe im doing it completly wrong but when i have a trade at 100 a hour i set it at Ratio...

Let me try to explain the difference between Capped and Capped (Lets see if i understand Jenny good about this. :) )

If you set a trade at 1.8 capped then it never send back more then 180% (?)
If you set a trade at 1.8 normal it can send much more to that trade as you receive from them..

When im wrong about this, then let the "experts" correct me and yell at me for not understanding.. ehum...

Thxs Ron,

Okay I thought that was what ratio did.
If you click ratio for trade type, it sets only that ratio???

So what is the best way to set a trade to send 100 hits per hour.

I've set them as a normal trade and filled in 100 as min trade.
I'm learning ucj by trial and error.

Thxs,
Jeff

Well,
Capped trade type - it won't send more back more than you have set
Normal trade type - It sends according to productivity of your trade partner... it will send less than you set if the productivity sux and it will send more than you set if the productivity rocks..

example:
capped 1.8:
1. it sent 120 hits to a trade that sent you 100 hits and made 150 click
2. it sent 120 hits to a trade that sent you 100 hits and made 300 click
normal 1.5
1. it sent 110 hits to a trade that sent you 100 hits and made 150 click
2. it sent 200 hits to a trade that sent you 100 hits and made 300 click

you see, normal ratio type boosts productive trades - the ones that you win from - and keeps not so good ones alive only

I never use capped ratio type

Ratio type trade - sends back without looking at the ammount and productivity

too many ratio trades kills all other trades
I do not recomend even for big sites (over 200k) to use more than 5 ratio trades.

Thxs Spy Cam

You saved me big time, I was about to set a bunch of trades to capped.

I think your getting capped wrong, capped sends based on productivity the exact way as normal does just that with capped you will send no more then 180% but its still trading 100% according to productivity

Jenny

if you set trades to capped it will work about 99% the same as normal if there at a high cap like 1.8 , your basically not going to have enough traffic to send 180% or more if there at capped or normal so it doesnt make much of a diffrence, so either using capped or normal there both ok but lets say a trade that sent 100 in with 600 clicks set at normal could return him like 200+ set at capped will return no more then 180% ..... I personally would never return a trade 200% plus if you know of any sites that return 200% let me know ;)

Thxs Jenny,

Damn, this gets complicated fast.

Okay I'm a little clearer now on capped and normal( Glad I did'nt mention ratio as a trade option lol)

I guess the best thing to do is try both and watch them carefully, and find out first hand what works with best with some trades.
Thxs, for all the input.
