Dialer minutes per Download?

I just started using my first dialer (vipdialer) and I received 200 downloads in 3 days. I'm counting only complete downloads calculated from the number of kilobytes transferred in my log file. I downloaded and tested the dilaer myself from my site and it seemed to work (though I dont have a modem).

But it didnt get any minutes and the dialer got cancelled because vipdialer gives 3 days to get some minutes. Is this usual to get 200 downloads without a minute? I heard it takes some time to get minutes as the surfer has to find the downloaded file on the computer. Or should I be getting many more downloads to get some minutes? And do all dialers cancel the dialer after 3 days?

IMHO, 200 downloads is not near enough to get a substantial amount of minutes.

200 downloads is not much. You'll need 10 times as much daily to make some nice mins.

2000 downloads a day? damn, now i do feel small & insignificant. i have had about 20 downloads. total. over 2 weeks. but thats just with 1 gallery posted. im averaging about 50 minutes a day.

those 20 downloads were just from 1 gallery posting, an experiment i guess. but i did get over 50,000 uniques...

any average ratios on hits to downloads?

Same here - gets some 20,000 downloads a day - outta this approx 15k is full downloads. These make approx 250-500 minutes a day with a good dialer from someone - AND IT AINT SPAMKINGS dialer http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
