At the moment I have 6 sites hosted on 2 host since starting CJ my traffic has sky rocketed so it is time to take my hosting a bit more serious I think. I have 2 questions
1) Can some of the larger site reccomend a host that they use
2) my hosting last month was US$400 is it time to start looking at dedicated hosting or is it still a bit early. If it is what should I be lookig for. If it is still to early when is it a good idea to move from virtual to dedicated
Thanks in advance

you should definately move to a dedicated host when your bill for bandwidth is over 600, with a dedicated your the master of your bandwidth and you ensure that your sites won't be down unless it's your fault. With a dedicated you can also host more and more sites without having to pay a set up fee http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
just my 2 cents
by the way, check out ynotmasters.com for hosts, or any other webmaster resource I find they usually have a nice list of choices.

One question I really am green when it comes to hosting there are so many tech words ))-: what is it that I should be looking for I want max uptime and speed so what is important when I look at the wonderful right ups host sites have (as none of it makes a bit of sende to me) I do not mind paying a bit more for this but I can not afford vast amounts
Thanks Shane
I use xxxstorage I wonder why I am looking for a host but in fairness they where pretty good for my other needs and I will proberbly leave the sites I have there I just do not plan to host CJ sites with them((-:
