Here is my thought on the subject of chameleon ...

Personally I have though Sextracker has been screwing us for awhile. hehe but ...

Anyone knowing anything about CGI knows it can detect browsers sooooo ... couldn't it just be added into the code for UCJ To send the Chameleon back where it came from With a message that since they are using chameleon they are not allowed to view our site ???

just my thoughts ... it could be a not so good idea but I thought I would share.
on my way to pick up my CE counter now.

Dunno if chamelion blocks all JS or just consoles, but if not, what you described can be done with any page using JavaScript.

Personally, I have more than enough JS on my page to worry about it. http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I would'nt sdend it back to where it came from. That would be non productive. Send it to one of your other non CJ sites, or to a sponsor, like a blind link sponsor. At least try to get some benefit from the non-console traffic.

It's not just Chameleon though. Any surfer who's spent any amount of time on the net knows by simply disabling JS in Netscape or IE can prevent launching consoles, so Chameleon doesn't do anything in that nature that the other browsers aren't capable of doing.

My guess is most Netscape users and IE users surf with JS on becasue of the other neat things that sites do with it, and there are just tii few Chameleon users to worry about, at least at the moment.

Unfortunately, my server stats do not provide browser info. I'd be interested to know how many actual Chameleon users tehre are, percentage wise.

personally I think a chammelot user should be sent out to a sponser, why send him to another trade site, just cut his rope right there and make a few cents/dollars off him.
