Does anyone know what the law is (im sure it may vary fro state to state) as far as advertising in public for an adult site. (For example can i put a poster up at the corner of main st. and second st. that sais XXX.com - Free Porn Pics/Movies/etc.) or is this agains the law. I live in Maryland in case anyone happens to know the state laws. Thank You for your intake

Yeah, They would probebly do the same thing here. I think i will ask my lawyer, because it would be nice advertising for local buisiness

Dont waste time or money setup a deal with local convience stores and adult shops to pass out cards with adult mags.. Thats targeted traffic and pretty cheap way to advertise. Posters / Billboards are not targeted and might not last in the consumers head till they get home but a card they can stick in their pocket. :)

Do you think they would do that? I dont have a porn shop near by, but do you think if i went to a bookstore that sells adult mags they would hand out a business card if i told them i would pay them?
And how would you pay them? Per customer or just monthly no matter how many get passed out?

I would set it up like this i been conswidering it myself BTW.

Give them say 500 cards to start for 1 month pay them $50 thats $.10 per card to make it seem worth their time. This is better then even SE because SE is not saved like a card they have in their desk and such. Also give them a special URL or use a code to track these hits and see how it works out.

I wouldnt worry the first shot of $50 because a billboard would cost minimum is a shitty locality $800 a month plus setup fees and a contract for 6 month minimum.

So its cheaper no contract or obligations on eather party involved. Then also you could make a deal to pay for their business cards with your URL on thier site if they have one or on the back of their cards ect..

Even posters are $2.5 each to have them printed in a nice mag quality print. So its minimal to try and it could produce very well and i think most shops would be willing to give it a try.
