I saw that too, but I did get a sign up sometime this morning from them. They are my NEW best sponsor...& I use a lot of sponsors.
W/ TGPs they convert VERY well I think!

I was dissapointed with ARS. One of their teen sites converted at 1 in 1000 with me.

I usualy have ratios better than 1 in 500 with teen sites.

ARS does good for me sometimes, but the last 2 days I haven't gotten shit either. Kinda strange.

Yes had a bad 10 days or so there, turned 80% of the traffic elsewhere. ARS can be good as hell and then turn down within hours into shit so that I can´t help myself to say there´s something wrong. Ibill could have had an affect too but if they where the reason then the outage wasn´t only for a few hours. Actually I hate all sponsors just so you know. Getting a good ratio for small traffic is easy, but getting the same ratio for 3 times the traffic and over more than just 3 weeks? Nope

eRock you´re new there and the ratio is good? Fine, enjoy it, but don´t count on it for too long. I have a feeling that after 100-300 signups you´ll go down the tube hehehe

Fart, that's what CEN been like for me. Is the solution then to diversify and send a little bit of traffic everywhere?

Do Ibill or ccbill sponsors do the same?

If I had a solution I´d do it. But keeping track of 2 dozen sponsors just plain sucks. I´d like to have 3 good ones for diversifikation and just in case that one does start not paying but haven´t found 3 good ones. CEN right now seems to do a few signups but not how it should be after all and guess what - since I turned the traffic away from ARS they start showing signups again, it´s going below 1:1000 again. Ah well..

Santa from sponsorwatch.net was on the road for a few days, came back, and the first he did was posting "ARS actually DOES cheat" and a bit more about ARS. Uhmmm.

Someone on the ARS board (!) also suggested to signup under a new name every few weeks. Said that he does it regularely and that it helps ALOT and that he has proof of this "Give it to the newbies so they stay, take it from the older ones so they try another 6 months to get THAT ratio from the beginning again" system

I wouldn't say normal, eventhough I am happy that sign ups are coming in. Last week on one site I was 1:74 this week with same traffic 1:413, just don't get it. I am going to send some to siccash and see how they do.

I CAN cash checks unless they aren´t too different from my name. My name media or my name services and the like works fine. Even abbreviations of my name works. With my bank at least, which is quite a normal one.

Because, surfers hate the site so much that they click on any banner (your sponsors) to get the hell out of the site for a better one.

I believe some webmasters forget that they are not here to make the surfer happy but to convince him that he's wasting his time with free sites.

Make a site with great design, 100 of free pictures and lots of other free daily contents and see what happen to your conversion rate! I bet you it will drop.

i don't think that the problem is ugliness - i think it's that they have no idea what surfers in their niches want.

their tit sites, shemale sites, and gay sites show a lack of understanding of the surfers that is incredible... if you don't tell people or show them what they want, you aren't going to generate a lot of signups.

I'm new to ARS... tried them on TGP with no success in 1000hits of a specific niche, but I tried with avs and converted under 1:100 with niche sites using ARS... So I say it depends on traffic quality http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
