FFA links aren't as good as they once were... and most people don't want porn sites on their FFA lin sites.

USNET isn't very good for spamming because most of the surfers are experenced and know where to get free porn. Niche stuff sometimes does okay in newsgroups... but what goes over the best is child porn.... which is sick shit... and illegal.

Let's not be closed minded and think the only way to work the se's is to get on the front page, sure it'll get you nice traffic after working for months trying to figure it out, then one day *poof*.. where the fuck did my listing go... what do you have then?

If you expend half the energy it takes to get a number one spot, you could be getting tens and hundreds of placements in lower pages... which don't change nearly as much, hence, more consistent traffic..

so what if it's at a low level, I'd rather have 1000 pages getting 1 hit per day each for 6 months than one page that gets 5000 a day for one week...

sometimes you have to go against the grain and let your competition waste THEIR time and expend THEIR resources so they can make a breif, albeit profitable, jump... If you take a slow, consistent growth position, you'll come out on top every time..

I've made an effort to get to know as many people in this biz as possible. Some of those people are like Earl Wyatt... you never know extactly who you are dealing with untill you get to know them.

I'm sure I'm not the only person in this biz that have stumbled across people who run CP sites. If I find them I DO REPORT them.

I don't even trade with people who have CP descriptions on their sites. I was molested as a kid... so I get more pissed off at this stuff then most people do.

I learned early on that the name of the game was the people you know. The more people you know the more opprotunities you get... the more opprotunity you have of making money.

I wouldn't risk my income or freedom for something illegal... and the people I do business with know I'm an honest person.

As for sources again: Within SE´s I find those engines to have the best traffic which are used from the less experienced surfers. Such as Yahoo, because I think it´s kinda newbie engine, and engines that are the default engines of any ISP, preferably of the bigger ones such as AOL and the like. ANy engine that comes preinstalled in browsers such as netscape. These engines are the first that new surfers try, and those are people who never heared about tgp´s and free sites.

And as Rich said: #1 spots for "sex" are hard to get and rock hard to stay. At least competition will report you to the engine for spamming the same day, regardless if you have or not (of course you have http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif ).

AVS will be my next venture, heard so many good ratio stuff about it.

TGP seems to be the most secure income if you know how to work with it, which I don´t. The part that I don´t like is that you need a big ass server and bandwidth, and once you have that, you NEED the damn traffic and could get into trouble because of the monthly expenses if you can´t provide the traffic/income flow. But some people claim to do serious money just with tgp´s.

Directories: Becoming a dmoz editor is a good thing of course hehehe. I find that they like people who say that they are "software engineers" in their apply (coz they are all programmers themselves). And opposed to what people sometimes say, I believe it´s bad to say upfront "Yes I got my own sites and I will list them" (so to be "honest"). Better to say "got no sites my own, just love porn etc." IMHO.

Banner Exchanges: I find that most participants cheat (hide your banner 3 feet down at the bottom) and you would need to do that too. I tried it a bit (not cheating just participating) but wasn´t satisfied that much. And you´ll get only highly optimized banners (Pic1, Pic2, Next ...) displayed on your sites which turn the traffic away pretty fast.

Emails: A friend told me he did like 1:5 or so with a few thousand targeted emails that he pulled with software from free accessible dating boards and related sites. Well if one can handle the complaints, after all it´s still spam, just targeted spam in this case.

I hear you. But these day most webmasters, especially newbies, don't want to trade hard coded links. All they think about is "how much traffic will you send me" and want to use scripts, top lists, blind links or what have you to trade link. They forget that in the long run these kind of trades don't do squat in generating fresh traffic.

As for me, I only trade links with webmasters who are in it for the long run and want to work in team to increase our link relavancy and generate more fresh traffic.
