Forcing hits. (i need some input)

Now i am wondering some thing, and i would like some input on it from some other webmasters on the subject.

ok now i have 2 sites one running ES one running Click man, my Click man site is pulling about 10k. My ES site is dyeing it took me a while but, i am sending more than i getting in on my ES site. Now if i redirect ALL my hits from my Click Man site to my ES site would this give me enough of a boost to be able to continue on from there? or would my traffic go up for a day then drop right after i stop redirecting?

My site also seems to drop about 300 visitors a day. Even though I send out around 20% more than I get in.
It seems like there is too many sites that don't bring in enough fresh NON cj traffic to the sites and just recycle the traffic they get from other sites.
I bring in just from 2K to 8K a day so I think I'm doing my part :-)
