Hey all,

I'm interested in asking particularly people such as snow and other pay/dialer site owners what kind of software they use to integrate accounting and check payout systems together.
I'm interested in starting up an affiliate program and I would like to know from experienced people the software and logistics of paying your webmasters on time. I want to get a good track record from the start and would like some help in setting it up.

Thanks

If your interested in some paysite software that integrates with the major processors you might want to check out http://clickman.com/

Well, i wouldn't be running a paysite per say. Basically, I am interested in finding software that would do all the check printing, processing and mailing to webmasters. It would not be connected to sales from paysites or anything like that.

Thanks

My wife is using Quicken for that.
She says it rules http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I use quickbooks, but i seriously doubt it can handle volume. I am guessing an upper bound of 10-20 thousand webmasters but chances of quickbooks being able to handle that kind of volume I seriously doubt.

What kind of volume are you using with QB? How many webmasters do you pay is what I'm basically asking. QB can take the stress? I'm using an old version (5.0) but I don't mind upgrading it if it can take the load.

Wired,

You probably won't get the answer here.
Maybe next time write "I need a dialer in the title," get some responses, then bust out the question. Pathetic, isn't it?

Best to call the dialer company you want to work with, and ask them for solutions.

WiredGuy - I print 600 or so every two weeks. Though I dont know how many you have in mind, but the pro version is made for a heavier load, compared to the regular version. The pro is for dealing with business loads and its cool cause when you setup your vendor list, you can check a box and it will automatically print out your 1099's come tax time.

How many are you looking to print out at a time?

Shannon: Well, I would say the number you said (600) is probably realistic for what I need as well, but I would like to know an upper bound that QB can handle as well should growth be extreme (ie: say 10,000 as an upper bound).

Thanks

WiredGuy - To be honest with you I dont know since I have'nt ever ran that many checks at one time. The most I usually print at one time are 10 sheets of checks "30 checks".

I've printed more, but I like to take my time and make sure everyhting is correct.

You may want to contact quickbooks themselves and see what they say, as if the pro version cant hanlde it - I bet they have something that can. But I dont see why the plain ol' QB Pro 2001 could'nt handle any load you throw at it.

I would be more worried about the printer I was using to print them on...hehe

Sorry I could'nt be of more help.

I have seen many titles designed specifically to print but i have a friend who programs special accounting database solutions and the likes and your best choice is buy off shelf business suits to start. Once you expand beyond your personal capacity you should look into a custom accounting solution or outsource to a processing center.

I would not try to manage 2000 checks a month myself even companys i have worked for who distro 150+ prefer to outsource. Mainly because it can become a hugh time consuming task and a big responsibility. If you screw up the IRS will be wating to pay you an Audit and hand you a big fat bill with nice interest rates.

Just dont try to leap before you crawl and im sure you will figure it all out and do aight.. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif
