Hello,
I am looking into the possibility of selling a high traffic moviepost that I own. It's been online for over 2 years and has gotten over 53 million uniques sextracker in that time. Currently I average about 80k/day unique sextracker.
Can anyone point me to resources where I can find out about selling such a site. This would include site reviews, auction sites, sites that have been sold, et cetera.
Any help is appreciated.
Take care,
Tommy

sell it on ebay, remember to feature it, and put a reserve though.

I am not asking anything for it yet. I am mostly interested in seeing how much it is worth if sold. I know it's worth what I get for it, but I want to get some idea first. Like I said, any help is appreciated. Anyone have experience selling/buying high traffic sites?

I would think it would depend on how good of a quality your traffic is really. If your site converts 50 sign ups/day its obviously worth more than a site converting 3/day. See what im getting at?

To be honest, it's probably worth more to me than someone would pay for it.
I've been tinkering with it lately and starting wondering what it would be worth to someone else.
To me, it's worth $15k per month. I can't see letting it go for 2-3 months income. Especially considering the site has been in the sextracker top 100 for the last 2 years.
Therefore, it's worth more to me than someone else. Unless I got a substantial offer, I don't think I'll be selling it. I certainly won't auction it off on ebay or such.
Take care,
Tommy

Well, if you are thinking about selling it because you no longer feel like spending the time then what i would do it pay someone to run it. Thats what i do, i run a few others sites on top of the sites that i own. The people i run the sites for allow me to have my sponsors on the site and i also have to keep theirs on. The only thing they ask is that they have the #1 banner spot. That way they can just keep making money every month without doing any work. The only thing i suggest if you consider this is making sure you have found someone that you can trust.
