I would be patient with maxcash. Just recently they were sending their traffic to a bullshit disclaimer page which would fuck up any conversions. I checked my links today, and they go straight to frontpage.
Yes, the best way is to change sponsor.

I am having the same problem. I have a quality site with quality traffic. I have no fake links to their sites, only quality ones. I have a conversion rate of 1:7000. I dont understand it. But, i am also promoting i think about 15 or maybe evern 20 of there sites. Its not like i am just promoting 1 or 2 sites. I have thought about changing sponsor, but in the summer, its really hard to make any money. If you have been around a while, you will know that. I am going to try and stay with them another week. If i cant get my ratio down, then i will be changing sponsors. But, i suggest come october, that you use them again.

Take a look around the TGP sites or the galleries submitted there - 70% of them advertise MaxCash sites.
So its more difficult to find a guy who hasn't signed up for any of them.

Quality traffic is when you trade traffic with good sites that has high productivity. If your site has high prod. then you pretty much have quality traffic. Also, boomark traffic is considered high quality.

bookmark traffic is up near the worst quality.

I disagree. I think bookmark traffic is good quality. Think about it, you've got something really good that it's worth bookmarking. As to how it converts, well, if your a gallery page site, chances are it will convert. If your a TGP site, chances are you'll lose out since they just want to look at all your links.

i do well with bookmark traffic when i tell them what they are actually going to get.
i don't know if maxcash shaves, but i'll tell you this: i know gay and shemale sites, and theirs are NOT good sites. they use grossly overused pics everyone has seen a million times on their promos, and it is obvious reading their text that no one who likes bears or shemales helped write it.

Max Cash used to be the best program going. However, they fought a BIG war for all of us when the FTC tried to take them out last fall. They won their case, but since then, the CC scrubbing has been extremely hard. Was a time, I made 20K+ a month with just Max Cash alone.
The times have changed, but they are changing again. This business changes every 20 minutes or so. Take them down as you must (I don't blame you, I had to), but don't count them out. Just keep an ear open for when they come back -- at that point, you'd be best to send a lot of clicks their way, because the boys know how to convert *any* traffic.
Just mho.
BTW, I think comparing dmoz/SE, avs and tgp traffic now would be a VERY useful thing. If the conversion rates overall are the same, it certainly tells the webmaster where to put his/her time and effort.
