I dont know what this biz is comming to but it seems al these hosting "RESELLERS" think they are gods or something. The just do as they wish spam as they like and think because they are a host its ok. Well i have no problem contacting phatservers or anyone elses upstream so this fuckin spam better not happen again.

Im sorry to see what this industry has turned to reciently i cant count how many new supposed Tier 1 hosts opened in the past 2-3 months all of wich are resellers.

In order to get the email..you had to have been signed up somewhere for one of our FREE services.Now before you proceed to call me a liar stop and think REAL HARD wich FREE services you have signed up at,more than likely it was one of our freehosts,because those are the ONLY webmasters who got the mail.
And as far as badmouthing our business (wich sounds more like a jealous rage) i would also stop and think REAL HARD again.We have been providing free webhosting for 3 years now serving thousands of webmasters...moving to paid hosting last year is a natural progression for us. Providing free services to webmasters is NOT done for our good health....It is done to make MONEY from webmasters and one of the drawbacks for you of using something that is FREE is getting advertisements for our "paying services"...Ever watch TV? You been in this biz for so long that you must SPAM me to get a new customer. This is not a jealous rant this is because im sick of all this crap that is flooding my mail. I pay for my shit and i think i have rights to speak up if i feel this way.

Every company now thinks because i join some program it gives them a right to spam about anything and everything and call it legit. I dont need your ads in my mail i get over 20 and this is a fuckin waste of my space and you make no referance to any program i signed up for.

I am an admin in a at a webhosting company. And I do not spam at all.. However i have found that lately the hosts spams are getting very out of hand.

Just my 2 cents of the situation.

Yea i could come online and spam people every day too its real fuckin easy. I have mail servers i have lots of resources to do bad things too but when i spend a dollar i prefer to know ive earned it legit.

Just ask the people who have been helped by me who ask me questions all day long over ICQ. Who have done good fair business with me and above all who respect me for who i am not how much cash i have. We spoke on ICQ about it and it seems they run xplaces free host. In november of 99 i had used them but as the agreement was i would get periodic email from http://www.xplaces.com/cgi-bin/powerlist/mail.cgi? which i now recievd and email from a totally differ domain.

So i take back the spam crap whatever but like i told him he should have given something i could referance instead of talling me i was jealous. So at that time i took defence and now that i know whats going on i take back the spam they didnt spam me.

I think that in general it's quite lame when a company offers a "free" service, and then basically uses that service to harvest webmaster emails for their spam.

A good way to track this is to give a unique email each time you have to give it.. Ie, sexcropolis @ avsblitz.com is what I would give were I so foolish as to sign up for a free host. ;&gt;
