I know people phishing a long time ago also but they did not scam cards thats a federal offence http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif
good god, these people are fucking nuts, wouldn't that one dude get caught with it being dropped off at his friends house? I mean, if something was charged on my cc then they would tell you where it was shipped to right?

Naw, he wouldn't get busted. A friend of mine used to do that a lot (carding). He would either use a house where someone was on vacation and leave a note for the ups guy to leave the package on the back door. Or he would use a friends place and the friend would just say the package was stolen off the door step or someother excuse....as long as he didn't confese, then they had nothing on him. He would have like 20 $5000 laptops at a time. He had a nice thing going, he even had a contact that worked for AOL to supply him with hundreds of phish a day. With the phish (looks like the cost has gone up majorly), he would spam a fake site to get cc info...same thing. People have been doing that for a long time now.

I think that they're hurting everyone, especially webmasters.
But there's a crap load of tricks to get cc numbers, I found a lot just by surfing some hacking sites.
Not to mention, just the other day at work, my boss handed me this paper filled with cc numbers. I also went into the back storage room, and they had back files on thousands of cc numbers. It's a little too easy to get cc numbers.

Heheheh. Thats nothing.
I remember how every carder on efnet used to check their card on adult websites with ibill. if ibill went through it was a valid card.
My friend who was a hacker was chatting with me in mirc, and logged into my Windows Nt boxx without me knowing it. And started sending me screen caps and files which i have.
That got me scared.

Here is some more info. I just pasted this from the channel on dalnet.
* LLOYDAIRE is need of fresh cc list with or without cvv2.. msg me legitz no ripper pls. i pay WU
That doesnt really scare me. but it could affect alot of online business.
personally if my cc got carded i wouldnt give 2 shits. just call visa. its just a headache.
But the way these people go about it so openly is hilarous.
Just today someone messaged me and asked to trade a cc number for a ftp link to a warez site with a bunch a software.
of course i handed over my visa card number gave it an hour called visa said "I think my card is being inapropriatly used over the internet".
visa - thats ok mr ... dont you worry well have another peice of dependant plastic shiped to you by the end of the week. so you can build back your debt like the rest of the pastic junkies.

Most of these people aren't hackers.
"script kiddies" not very clever in my opinion. Yeah, it's easy to get this stuff, cause there's millions of idiots running around the net with cc numbers.
These people are hurting both real hackers, and internet webmasters with their stupid sensless acts.
What these people could do if they just used their free time productively.

this cc hacking is shitless.
imagine that all the aw could easily transform to cc phishing (maybe some are already tasting it).
the surfer will soonstop to give away his cc for online fun.
the only good part is that dialers might start to be used more often(a lot more often) for online entertainment.

well you don't have to deal with cc fraud melvin. It's a pain in the ass. But again, it's mostly idiots giving away their credit cards, but again, it's idiots who are willing to spend money with it as well, so it's hurting all of us webmasters.
