The e-mail adress it was adressed to is my private one and except AWI (I used it openly for the PornoWill AWI account) only my friends have it, so they must have collected it from AWI.

Also, in the e-mail they included statements from AWI about their new site as seen above, so the case is pretty clear. (See http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/007060.html )

By the way, I have never shown any interest in them, their site or program.

well i dunno if theyre getting email addresses from here, but they're getting them from somewhere. i just got 3 of their emails, one at the email i use for all my adult stuff, and two at private email addresses that i never post anywhere and that have nothing to do with the adult biz.

Unsubscribing isn't what it is about Killah. I can easely unsubscribe and if that doesn't work I can block you, but the point is just commenting your e-mail collecting methods.

It was merely a comment for other AWI users about what might happen to their e-mail adresses, the spam itself I don't care for or complain about as I just ignore it.

I know Killah pretty well, and I know that he pays a lot of money for these emails.
If webmaster ressources sell your emails, which is normally declared in the terms of their sites, it's your own fault that you submit them. These complaints should go to the webmaster sites or sponsors that sell your mails.

Did you read my post? I haven't used my private e-mail in this business except for AWI and friends, so Killah haven't paid a dime for my e-mail adress.

For All the Posts above mine, I am a bit confused. To answer questions above we have not sent unsolicited email to any of you. Either you joined one of our programs in the past or are a current member of one of our programs. As for personal emails is it not possible that somebody made a fictitious sign up with us using your email, i.e. the opt out Please Opt Out we do not want to anger anyone by sending email you are not interested in. I really don't see listed anywhere here where we screwed any of you out of cash, and I believe I already answered the babenet issue in another thread. I have not posted much in the past but I have read many posts. It seems that several of you are angry at our programs or us and I am not sure why. We work hard to do our best; we are always available to answer customer service emails and icqs, We pay ontime Only webmaster we do not pay are those that have tried to defraud us. My final thing to say is I do not find it fair that many of you post and do not put your email or icq so I can take the time to respond to your concerns, I will make time to answer any or all of anyones questions. As for the new site we just added to sellyourexit www.dcgirls.com (http://www.dcgirls.com) it is a new paysite, it is NOT a babenet site.

I've never performed a single mailing to AWI members nor have I have given out or sold the AWI email list. Additionally I had set the bio field a long ago to not display email addresses in order to stop email harvesting. So any suggestion that the email address was gotten from AWI is ludicrous.

Well i think everyone knows im not to keen on spam but i have full faith in them as a sponsor however i didnt get this email. Maybe because im already in the program i dunno but not to defend however my email is all over AWI so i dont think it would have come from here. Also the email i use on AWI is differ then what i use for sponsors so the only way could have been hand collection of key users.

I just hope that if this is the case it does not continue or that twinkle in my eye for DCGirls will loose its spark..

i got 12 copies of that email. i'm not as worried about is as some are, but some of the email addresses there i haven't used in over 4 years. obviously they bought a list that is really old or not well filtered.

i don't really want to remove 12 email addresses at their removal page - too much like work.

there is a company in Oregon I think, name Newport marketing inc. or something. Those fucks are the end of spamming line. They don't have a website, they don't deal by email (guess why?). They change isp every week (or day? lol). They have 800 number to call them and place order for bulk email, and fax. They have 800 number for removal (of course very few people would bother to remove themselves via phone). They don't give a fuck about any antispam laws or ethics. They harvest addresses from everywhere and whois. You call them and ask why do you assholes spam me 50 times a day and they will tell you 'just to piss you off'. Oh and they have state of the art phone equipment with caller id, so they know your phone number when you call them even if it's unlisted and you have callerid blocking (just like fucking 911)
You can't block them cause they use different mail servers each time they bulk mail. etc, etc. And they still in business for years.
So how is that?

I can ignore and/or delete spam so rarely get too upset about it. However it does annoy a little when people try to defend it with blatant bullshit. I've had 4 copies (so far) of the mail and I'm buggered if I've signed up to any of your programs with 4 e-mail addresses. As with a few posts above, at least one of the addresses is rarely, if ever, used for porn related stuff. Whichever way you look at it you've bought addresses from somewhere. Lying about it is just plain daft.

What the hell is the big damn deal?! So you got some spam in your inbox...just hit the frigin delete button. Is it that hard? Its the same thing as getting junk mail in your real mail box, and do you ever here anyone complain about that? No they just throw it in the trash. Everyone always goes after spammers and complains about them. Why don't you start at the post office first, then work your way to internet mail. Its much harder to change your postal address than your email. Better yet, what about your cj's...I am sure they give surfers more of a headache than a simple spam.
