I used to do only mainstream-sites, made some real money for about 2 years ago. About ~ $1k - $2 month with non-adult-sites. I'm planning on opening a few non adult sites. You really have to work on bookmarkers with non adult sites. It's true that the traffic is next to worthless, because most non adult sponsors pay next to nothing because it's more profitable to them to buy out print advertising, so I understand.
