View Full Version : Script question for you guys
I don't run cj's. I'm looking for a script that will manage/track the traffic coming from several thousand free/avs sites. Is a cj script the way to go? I don't need any trade functions or worry about cheating or anything. Since you guys have the experience, I'm curious would you use an existing script(cj or other) or have one written?
Thanks.

Sounds interesting Al, what would you want such a script to do, exactly?

I think he wants a management utility to keep referrer/traffic stats on sites like toplist jerkers, free sites, SE doorways and do actions based on the niche and other parameters of the referring site? Would be easy to make.
What actions and parameters (If I got your idea right in the first place) would you want?
- Parameters
niche (I.E. teen, mature etc)
category (I.E. avs, toplist etc)
country/language
- Actions
Redirect to whatever URL
Show custom ads or whatever else html
Feed ideas and suggestions if I'm on the right track.

Almost all CJ scripts have such feature. Just add your sites to the database of the script and then use this code on each of your main page: <img src="http://www.cj_domain.com/in.php" height=1 width=1>
assuming that the script that counts the traffic is in.php.
That is - very simple. You'll have all stats for all your sites in one admin panel.
If you want more, like redirecting traffic from specific groups to specific toplists, from toplists to specific CJs (to filter your traffic) then get yourself Easy CJ.
It can do all this.
Thanks for the replies. Just took a peek at easy cj, think I'll try that, then I'll have a better way to phrase my question to you guys.
thanks again.

If its just for tracking i suggest AXS from www.xav.com (http://www.xav.com) its free and very good to track patterns of traffic accross multi sites.
