anyone ever hear of these guys? One of them took my icq address from the gfy, or this board, and tried to offer me their dialer program. I told them I already had a great dialer, and he feels like he needs to say, "Go fuck yourself."

No im not reselling for VIP dialer. Saddam I have a guy doing 100 min hold times on Egypt and many other countries get very good holdtimes, so you won't be too fucked, it all just depends.

To answer your question hold times could be for slow ass loading pages depending on the users conncetion speed, internet traffic on the pay site, and other technical factors.

Not all dialers go to the same member areas and not all dialers play fair nor have equal content. Some have more some have less but hold times depend on many factors also besides just content.

I would stay away from a dialer that charged $5 a min and even let a user hit 100 mins for the fact its more likly then not he will dispute the charges. As many know some dialers have cut off points which may bring you less but save the dialer companys ass on non payment issues.

I really dont think you can base your stats on 2-3 calls as this guy says he has with iraq callers. It takes more like 20-50 to even make a slight average be fair. If you get 1 caller that did 100 mins and 14 that did 5 that 100 will basically overthrow your others and therefore inaccurate. I also feel it takes 2-3 months to determine the real factor in your hold times.

I have seen this guy spam all over AWI and personally im a reseller myself and this post is the biggest reason i depend on SE and other webmaster resource areas to bring in potential webmasters. I dont like spam and try my best not to follow in the practice myself. I also have emails popping in every week from companies offering to buy me up which will never happen.

I also get many offers daily sent to my email related to webmaser programs and other crap on ICQ which pisses me off. Almost 99% of the time i get such an email or ICQ notice i give them warning and then proceed to notify the primary upstream provider (not the host). Its people like this DAMIEN-X guy who pop up into this biz and drag our reputations thru the mud as an industry.

You can all see how snow and some others learned spam = bad business (pisses people off) and DAMIEN-X will learn real soon too.

I myself may not make anywhere close to snow or some of the others but those who know me understand dialers are not my primary business and im not interested in being such. I have many ventures currently going and can hardly find time to eat or sleep let alone spending time maintaning my own dialer content...

Sorry for the long post here but i think this guy really needs to be clued in on reality.

in order to have webmasters willing to use your program, whether dialer, clickthrough or partnership, you need to have one of two things. a reputation or good communication.

a rep means lots of people have been paid by you in the past. good communication means that your webmaster know that you are available, easy to talk to and businesslike.

otherwise the only people that will use your program are newbies, and they won't make you money.

shit, if you bother enough people and they get pissed and start contacting your dialer company, the dialer company may stop you from distributing their dialers. spam IS illegal, and rudeness is counterproductive to making ca$h.
