Getting traffic to a TGP?

Till now I was just submitting galleries to TGPs, getting 200K hits a day to the galleries. Now I've opened a TGP site, but dont know how to get traffic. I've put recips on my galleries but they dont seem to draw much traffic. I'm also link exchanging using CJPro which is getting me some hits but I'm unable to return them. How do I go about getting some traffic? Are there lists I can list myself in to to get traffic? I dont need too many TGP submissions right now, I've a list of filler galleries from myself and other gallery makers for now to last me some time. Any advise appreciated.

Get ucj and send 70% traffic to galleries 30% to trades and u will grow well.

Well since any advise would be appreciated, I'll try my best to help, not that I'm running a tgp.

But here goes nothing.

First, and most obviously, just submit your site to search engines.

Some link list site should accept you as well.

Second, if you want traffic to your main page from gallery listings, your best bet is to do it through blind links. Some of the top tgp's will allow blind links. So, what you do is stick a <h1></h1> blind link at the bottom of all your galleries that says "Click Here for the next gallery."

From what www.cyclejerk.com (http://www.cyclejerk.com) says, about 15 % of your tgp traffic will blindly click on it. You can just lead that to your tgp/cj/whatever. Anyways, I can assure you that 15% won't click on a banner, and probably won't click on a recip as well.

Third- if you can get your site submitted on the tgsw list, you should immediately start receiving 50- 100 submissions per day, a couple of days after it's listed. This is because 1,000's own the tgsw, and at least 50-100 will enable your site within the first couple of days (of being listed on the tgsw list).

hypo, you DO need gallery submissions - with recips on them. that will send you traffic, and if your site updates every day, that traffic will start bookmarking you and you'll have more traffic to send to your galleries and link trades.

this is a different kind of traffic - it is loyal tgp traffic that very possibly comes to you from a bookmarked tgp, and may become your loyal traffic. they will click on your newest sponsor links, and will go where you recommend is a good place to go if they like your site.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm submitting my recips on galleries and thats getting me a bit of traffic. Also I'm blindlinking a few links on the galleries using CJPro for traffic exchange.

Two questions -

- Will gettiing UCJ help me any better than using CJPro (free version 1.10)?

- I dont know anything about Search Engine submissiions. Are these adult SEs or general SEs? I've read submitting to SEs doesnt really help as I'll probably get listed on their 10th page where no surfer goes. Any advise on the submissions? Any submission tool I should use?

In 4 days my traffic is now 600 hits per day, and growing slowly everyday (I hope). I never knew trading scripts could be important till I saw this board, and thats been a big help! Thanks guys!

Search engines won't get you a whole lot of traffic unless your listed high on their directory. There are many places to submit your site for free, try this portal

getting listed will send you a significantly higher amount of traffic. but that costs 600, and you have a 50/50 chance of getting it.

As for putting recips, I think you'd be better off just putting complete blind links on your galleries.

under every row of pics, maybe put

Click Here, next gallery.

But then again, you have to submit to tgps that will allow that.

UCJ manages traffic a lot better than cjpro, and has many more features. CJpro also takes 1 % of your outclicks.

Just try to get traffic to your main page, and do some trading, or just completely send them to a cj site, so you can maintain that traffic.

Anyways, I also suggest submitting your tgp site to the tgsw list

and have rules such as:
recip required
must have a recip to at least 3 other tgps', with a max of 5
other rules to make sure you receive clean galleries.

Anyways, there's a number of things that you can really do.

Putting blindlinks on some my own galleries sounds like a good idea, I wont submit those to other TGPs. Another question -

- Whats's a good (free, for now) script to accept gallery submissions, specially from tgsw?

Specifically, I need a script that will allow me to sort through the submissions, and then allow me to insert a code on my index page that will display the approved links. Meaning, I dont want the script to create an index page for me but I want to insert a code on the index page that will automatically include the posts I have approved.

every 4th day, submit a good quality gallery to al4a and one other big tgp, plus ampland. put your recip on it as a tgp. you'll see good hits there.

other days, put your tgp recip with other tgp's - change 'em around. and the better your recip is, the more hits you'll see.

Thanks. I also installed Shavenferret's TGP script yesterday for testing it out (not as my main TGP page). I like the feature that lets me subscribe to their auto submit program. That gets me 40-50 submissions per day, but without my recips of course. Does TGPM have a feature like this too?

My hits were 1700 yesterday and I'm pretty pleased! What's the best way to count bookmarkers? My stats say bookmark or no javascript, so how do I confirm who are the bookmarkers? Is there some way to do this with favicons?

Shavenferret's TGP is not ideal for managing TGP site.
I recommend auto gallery pro (its 55$)
free version also avaible (www.cgi-works.net)

What I'm looking for is a script that will allow me to add a 'javascript src= ' tag anywhere in my page, which will pull out the links list generated by the TGP program and place it there. I do not want the script to generate the actual html. Does any script allow this? Or something similar using javascript or php or cgi?
