How much?

I need a proggie made which is very simple, just a database on MySQL which can be called from external domains. Now, my question is: how much will it cost a program like this (aproximately)? I've several people who can do it both in PHP and/or Perl, but I'd like to know just the price for something like this. As always, any help appreciated

Ok I am thinking you mean this...correct me if I am wrong...

You want to make it so your mysql database is accessible from other domains then localhost? To do this you just have to enable it within mysql to allow that piticular database to be accessed outside of localhost.

There is no other scripts required...If that is what you mean?

Something like that. I mean, somebody signs and input his info in the database. Then, he'll visit other sites and he'll need an user/password combination that must be checked. In fact, it's not exactly that the request will come from an external domain, but the domain will have a form pointing to my domain and my domain will need a database to verify the information and allow/disallow access. It's for a non-adult project, and I don't think it will need somenthing very powerful, so I think MySQL is OK. Hope I explained better this time ;)
