It's a partnership sharing program. They'll provide free bannerless hosting if you use one or more of their listed sponsors (i.e., ARS, Dollarmachime, Topbuck, etc).
For example, for every sale you make, the sponsor pays you directly $21/signup and Revsharehost get $14/signup from that sponsor.
Hope this help. here's the url if you want to signup under me http://www.revsharehosting.com/45/

It looks promissing for a new program. You get less per signup from sponsors but you don't pay for bandwidth. I think, if you make alot of free sites or galleries per day, it could be a great program.

sounds like a pretty tight idea; allows designers to make their own galleries / style to sell more memberships (which directly makes the freehost more money).
thumbs up :)

why not?
seeing as you can setup your own domains with them, they would never know any different (the LL).

I'd say it would be a good program if you didn't know how to sell.. Just like any free host really.

LOL. it's like saying only people that don't have money borrow. :) There's a thing called LEVERAGE. i.e. using other people resources to increase your rate of return.

Just take econ 101? You're still paying, just in a different way. If you know how to sell, then the price of the hosting is way too much. All free hosting is, including this one. If you don't, it's a valuable training wheel. Free hosts live off people that can't/don't know how to sell their sponsors.

The only ones using it at the moment are a select group of webmasters beta-testing the program. We had the submit button on the join page enabled for a few hours the other day while we were testing and a few webmasters signed up, but for the most part we will not be rolling things out for a few more days. We are making some back-end programming changes in response to comments from beta webmasters.

I took micro and macro economics, accountings, finances, marketings, statistics and many other business courses. Free hosting such as these can help increase your profit margins, reduce your risks, diversify your sites portfolio, saturate the market, increase your SE ranking, etc. If used in conjuction with paid hosted sites, freehosting can be of great benefit to even experienced webmasters.
