Sorry this is lengthy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> <br /><br />I have been following all these posts regarding the adult biz going down the tubes due to: “free porn” hell for pay sites & Webmasters earning their living from sponsor programs,<br />Not to mention newbies sorry I am still one only been a Webmistress for 8 months (newbie)…surfed porn enough to know that free pics are too easy to find now compared to 5 years ago i.e. my b/f had a membership with an adv for 2 years…. that was 2 years ago when the last term ran out….he only goes to the Hun’s now (before that it was Ampland till they stopped updating & changed the site)…still complains though because they don’t have enough of what he is looking for) <br /><br /> Back to biz; my site is currently a free site on a free host. This week I finally scraped enough money together to pay for a domain & to get set up with a paid host. <br /><br />Now with so many people cursing "Free Sites, Free Porn etc. I am reconsidering my plans. This will definitely require more time obviously. I will still transfer part of the site to paid hosting because that move will open so many more avenues…. more traffic & less work (without posting to numerous TGP’s a day, cheating or using cgi)…. I won’t give away all my secrets on that one…although the old timers will know what they are.<br /><br />The problem now is how much do I move? My gallery index has close to 1,000 pics. From all the Webmasters on here complaining ...I am wondering if that is too much "free stuff”. Thanks to all of you (I couldn't possibly remember everyone’s name & it would take too much time & space) ~ (This is only a plan troubleshooting stage) I'm considering sorting out a few pics from the different pages on my site (including all future pics from future pages) for the free site & then maintaining the bulk on a pay site (whether through a billing service or ads I haven’t decided yet). Then advertise for the pay site (where all the content is) from the Free site. This will limit the "free porn" to the surfers”. <br /><br />To be honest I am not in this to make money. I do it because I love it…. if I made enough to cover the cost of the paid hosting (once signed up) I would be happy. <br /><br />Any thoughts on this? Does my plan have “merit”?

sorry I am not only looking for help for me but attempting to find a solution (or at least help a little) for all of us....there will always be people out there looking to make a fast buck if they can...(if they do from my opinion it will be from deceit) I am not in this for the short term...I do not want to fuck anyone over or make a pile of money....Just have fun....that is the bottom line! What I am concerned about if I create a humungous free site ...I will be screwing you guys...I don't want to do that....I am looking for an alternative....

twobitsgirl, you don't need to fuck anyone over to make money - you need to find out WHO the surfers are that would be interested in what you have and tell them in an appealing way what that is.<br /><br />still, if you aren't making much, perhaps best to refine your site till you move to paid hosting... you are NOT fucking the surfers over if you give them 100 pics for free - put the rest in an avs site and tell them honestly you need to make some money but you have 900 more pics that they can see for a truly nominal fee. if they actually like what you have, a bunch will join.

get the pics setup into 20 pics free sites. get those listed on link lists. make 3 30 pic free sites for pk only. submit to search engines. <br /><br />go read some resource sites. that'll give u the info u need to link all ur sites together. another way to get traffic rolling through ur sites and hit them with some fpa's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> <br /><br /> <img border="0" alt="[Ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/ouch.gif" />

FlyingIguana I have been doing that for 8 months. All the pages I have made & my best friends pages on the site. this boils down to a "fake tgp" ! <a href="http://www.girlshost.com/toys/thelust/Galleries.htm" target="_blank">http://www.girlshost.com/toys/thelust/Galleries.htm</a> (this by passes the main page) <br /><br />there would have been over 1300 pics by now if i didn't have to remove some pages from my friend ...(host went corput)<br /><br />this is the main reason I was following the tgp & free porn hell posts...I am wondering if I am screwing myself out of income...plus just adding to the porn industries demise due to too much free stuff! I am only one person but all the ones do add up.
