Is it possible to make a web page auto "close"

I know you can set time delays on popup windows but is it possible to make a web page auto close?
what I really want is a link I can click that will open a web page of my choice for say 30 seconds then close it again and just keep opening and closing it for as long as I want it to.

If you use it on a popup window it shouldn't promot the user.. but if you use it on your main parent window it will prompt them...

there are better ways but thats the easiest

You know these small minded selfish pricks that piss around with peoples (newbies) windows settings, adding bookmarks, changing homepages , resetting the msn search engine, blah blah blah...
well what these fuckwits want is hits right, so let em have hits, all day long, hit after hit after hit.

best of all will be if I can get software working from a known spam database :-) oh joy happy happy :-)
Oh and wouldn't it be great if I had a script that would activate these search engines with nonsense search strings to fuck up its keyword database and make it do bandwidth costly full searches instead of using normal search words found in ram.
And imagine how pleased the sponsors will be when I copy the referral info from my bookmarks to an auto url submission routine, I mean that's what they wan t isn't it? LOTS of hits :-)
If I get the software working then It will get dumped in all the warez ftp sites for people to play with, GREAT idea don't ya think, I'm sure it will become popular.
My only sympathy lies with the web surfer, Sponsors who are willing to allow this type of FORCED advertising and the greedy webmaster who has such a shitty website that they have to steal traffic should be prepared to pay the extra bandwidth :-)

Maybe i will save you some research and advise you to learn what is an iframe and what can very easly be done with it. Second you better learn what htaccess is and what it can do for the webmaster you attack.

Anyone who trys to hitbot me or pull any crap just gets added to htaccess and using mod_rewrite i send them to FBI.GOV then they can explain to the feds whay the bandwith levels generating from their IP are so high.

So you want to open a browser for 30 seconds then close it... I have to agree, why would you want to close the page on your own? just let the user hit the X/Close button, then you can use an unload statement to open another browser if you want to rotate webpages..

If you are going to waste the users BW/Time to load and a browser, you should atleast give them the option to read it.

I think something called "The Retaliator" with a slogan like "hit em where it hurt$" would look rather nifty, with a nice auto detect for hostile html followed by a multi threaded download of anything it can grab would be great fun, oh and a bandwidth meter would look kind of pretty don't ya think.
Have you ever bothered to go and have a look at the problems you're causing people, you have half the newbies reinstalling windows, I seen em watering on in the forums about blacklisting people using the scripts and then you turn up with your adverts for the scripts and they all shut the fuck up!!! You own em or something.
Big as you are you can't buy everybody, the average web surfer will be only too happy to get their own back if given a chance. You say yourself that the scripts probably have a working life of about a year, he he bet they don't.

Its already created, I have lots of webmasters using the script right now. And ya, Microsoft put out a patch so it will only work with MS 5.0 - 5.50e Still 7-13% penetration is good.. its all bonus round.

I still give all scripts out for free, I do not charge other webmasters..
