Is there any way of truly finding out how many bookmarkers you have ?

There is no way to do it, however, look in your error logs for a favicon.ico, this means that your site got bookmarked (IE only), it will even tell you where it was (the page)

FYI, favicon.ico is a small icon 16px*16px that you can place in your dir, so when a user bookmarks your site, it's displayed in several places (favorites next to the bookmark, address bar when they access your site, etc)

when a user bookmarks, Explorer looks for it, therefore producing an error that goes to your logs. so, as many errors as you have, as many bookmarkers you gained that day

Ya just look in ure stats for
favicon.ico

thats the best way to see..

however it still dusnt meen the person came to ure site from a bookmark.. it just means that when the person looked at his bookmarks ..

ure site was there..

so it dusnt mean he clicked on ure site though / : )

but ull get a rough idea

Easy,
Just install a cgi that logs the hit and delivers the icon.
That way you don't loose the bookmark AND you get to see who bookmarked http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
