Dude, just be glad your site is up. Last summer I tried them out and it was a nightmare. I must say the admin's intentions were good but something wacky was going on over there and good intentions are not enough in business.<br /><br />I ended up just leaving because my sites were down so often and it was a hit or miss whether tech support was around.<br /><br />Just my 2 cents.<br /><br />LD <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />

I checked them too, cause they had good prices but their support sucks me from the first day with their stupid trouble ticket.<br /> No I am on xxxhostit, the got also pretty good prices and got 24 hours ICQ support. Kappy, if you are having any problem at all email billing@techiemedia.com Our trouble tickets are answered withen a few hours at most and I have not seen any from you. Also we have a few phone numbers listed on our site, where live people (yes even me) will answer the phone.<br /><br />Live Dose, Yes we are less then 1 year old and have had some growing pains, but we work them all out as they arise, (nobodies perfect).We are now hosting several of the largest companies on the net and our service is becoming a major player in the industry. Please stop bringing up last summer when we had a few days of downtime during our major move. That issue has been beat to death, and all people that hosted with us then recieved the entire month free to compensate for the few days of intermittent downtime.<br /><br />TwobitsGirl, now you know me personally now from hosting a few sites on my free hosting. As 1 of the owners of Techie Media, do you really think these negative comments are true ?? I can assure you we are working everyday at constantly improving all aspects of our organization.

Well we do frequent some of the boards, but NEVER does Techie Media comment or spam on ANY hosting thread. We are quite and don't believe in the typical spam methods that some other hosting companies use. But be assured we are very solid and when a new problem does arise we tackle it asap, and try our best to never allow it to occur again, (we are human though).<br /><br />OK I do believe this thread has been covered and responded to at this point.<br /><br />Thank you all.<br />Lightning

Lightning I will email you. <br /><br />This is for the board & I don't consider it spam & it is not just kind words but the truth<br />I do trust Lightning ~ he has become a good online friend and the hosting service just don't compare. Sorry to all others. After 5 months of excellent service for my site on his free host. I have no reason to think I would get anything less from his paid hosting services. The bottom line is trust. There may be cheaper hosts or more expensive but can you trust them? <br /><br />As lightning said this is the end.

Like I said I felt the intentions of Techiemedia were good there was just a communication problem. Prior to leaving my emails and phone calls were never answered.<br /><br />If someone says they haven't heard anything from Tech for 41 hours I going to respond with my experiences. Sorry if that bothers you.<br /><br />I am familiar with some of your larger clients and hosting services... Not knocking those at all and I am glad to hear that you guys are past your growing pains.
