Mailing list software, which to use ?

I am currently looking for some mailing list software ...

i would prefere double opt in software and that its written in php and not too freaking expensive... Free would be very nice price for it :D

so if you know of any good software, let me know...

We never send your surfers emails ourselves. When you send emails,they join your list,etc it says using mogul email, may have a ad, blah blah, etc..

We do work to find advertisers who want to send mailings to your list. You can opt-out of this though. However we pay 75%.

So let us assume you have lists going and a client wants to send a mailing to general adult surfers. We charge him/her 4 cents per email.

Let us say we decide to use 10,000 emails on your lists and you are opted in to the ad program. Upon completion of mailing, you would receive a 75% cut of 4 cents * 10,000 meaning you would get a check for $300 for doing nothing extra other than run email lists which you already do.

We are expanding a great deal right now and are doing heavy upgrading and promotion in 2002. If your lists grow big and you are in the ad part of our software, plan on making some extra money.

Additonally we are spending about $30,000 over the next 12 months in specialized servers for our services.

Check it out and let us know how we can improve, you will probably see it.

Also we just added the ability to make email protected websites like the join4free style. This is an excellent way to build lists.

I own FreeMovieSite.com which is like this and with minimal traffic got over 10,000 double-opts in a couple months. Not bad for minimal traffic. I think 1:4 is my ratio.

Every list you make has page response customization features (in the admin). When they join, they go to the join page (which logs them in our db's, sends verification emails, etc).

You can enter html in your custom response area which will appear when called, like on the join page. You have the ability to show what you want for join page, verification page, verification email, emails you send out of course, etc..
