Questions for IE6 users

hey,
i recently installed winXP and have noticed that with IE6, when you click a link, or a console opens, it shows the contents of the current window until the new page starts loading, instead of showing a white background. It's hard to tell when a new window is and isn't being opened, because you never see a transition. Does anyone know how to get this to behave like all previous versions of IE? (to first show a blank page when a new window is opened)

this is driving me batshit!

I hate IE6, and now user Opera as my default browser.

It loads the pages much faster, give it a shot.
