Hi,
I haven't been on AWI for a long time...
I have been really busy with my studies that I only have a few time left to work on my sites. But this whole week I decided to work on my sites for a long time. Finally I make them grow again... BUT today I had a LOT of problems with Prohosters... After 2 days of getting new trades and raising my traffic to more than the double, my site seems to load sometimes and sometimes not. And when it finally loads, it loads too damn slow!!!
The fucking funny thing is that supposely I'm on a semi-dedicated server!!!
I will really appreciate comments from any other webmaster that is/was hosted on Prohosters. I used to be REALLY happy with them. But today all my traffic was screwed because of prohosters.
Please... HELP! FEEDBACK! COMMENTS! SUGGESTIONS?!?!

Thanks http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

After posting I searched for topics about prohosters. The latest one I found was of Feb 22. I didn't have any problems until 2 or 3 days ago... I think problems on semi-dedicateds, or at least on the server I am hosted, started 2 or 3 days ago. So I just wanted to know if you guys are also having problems now. Anyway, it seems my site is doing fine now. At least my traffic is recovering.
Thanks for your replies http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

my site on prohosters is down at least
20-30 times every day for short periods, I
know this because I have a monitor program
checking the site, pinging, hitting port 80
etc...

it has been like that a long time, the site
I have there is totally dead - nobody can run
a CJ site on a crap host like this.

My suggestion? - MOVE NOW!

Lizard:
THANKS A LOT!!!
I thought my problems were since 3 days ago. You are totally right. The same happens to me. 5 minutes my site is up. Then down 2 minutes... And so on. I bet it's down at least 20 times a day. I will seriously consider in moving to another host ASAP.
Any suggestions???

xXx-Gene - You can check out www.candidhosting.com (http://www.candidhosting.com) $2.50 per gig and you can have up to five domains under one account on the virtual's. I like them so much that I just moved to a dedicated box with them.

Thank guys for your suggestions http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
I have decided to stay on prohosters for one more week. If I have one single problem, I will move for sure. I just need to decide where. Do you guys remember the URL of a site that was about comparisons between adult hosts?

xXx-Gene,

This is the program I use to monitor all my sites:

Lizard... THANKS!
The program seems to be pretty cool. But I think I have to be connected to test my server. And unfortunately I am not connected for more than 3 hours a day... Or does the program check my site 24/7 even though I'm not online?
Do someone knows about any program/company of site's monitoring that can do that?

xXx-Gene,

Yeah, you have to be connected to have it
monitor your site - the only online service
I know is:

http://watchdog.mycomputer.com/index.html

A bit expensive if you want the check's done
every 2 min. (99$ pr. url)
